I was very pleased with the results yielded through our advertisement with the Marketplace Magazine. In order to measure success of the advertisement, I placed a coupon, with the ad. We started to cash those coupons, as soon as the magazine was distributed, and we continued to have customers bring in those coupons several months later. I have advertised, with other print media, however the return on investment with Marketplace Magazine has been much better.

We are a natural health clinic that opened in north Burlington in April of 2006. Our business, Let It Heal, took off very quickly after our opening, much due to the great services we offer, the people who work here and the popular location we have. We didn’t do a lot of advertising in the beginning as we are lucky enough to rely on referrals from our great clients. Lauren Lowe from Marketplace Mag entered our clinic letting us know about advertising campaigns available in an upcoming edition. We hadn’t advertised in the magazine before, but were very impressed with the quality of the ads in the copy Lauren showed us. There is something to be said for a good gut feeling about something. Whether it was Lauren’s genuine enthusiasm about getting us in the Marketplace Mag or the impressive magazine itself, we committed right on the spot.

 

From the first proof (which blew us away) to seeing the final ad in print when it was delivered, the whole process was friendly, professional and done exactly as we would have done ourselves (if we could)! We had a coupon, which is a great way of actually seeing advertising results. The results were excellent! Not only did we gain a lot of new customers, a lot of them mentioned how impressive the ad looked.
